ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE(S):

  • To be an integral and efficient part of the service delivery to the membership.
  • Responsible for set up and reset of all dining tables.
  • Clearing, watering and bread service to tables
  • Room set up and break down for events.

NATURE OF POSITION:

  • This position reports directly to the F&B Managers and Captains
  • Will work very closely with Club members, residents, and, both front and back of the house staff as well as other Bonita Bay Club employees.
  • Needs to be able to take direction and work closely with Host/Hostess

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be in compliance with and actively support a drug free workplace.
  • Must possess good verbal communication skills.
  • Position requires the individual to maintain flexible availability, will work weekends, double shifts, and holidays.
  • Must have a neat, clean and well-kept appearance.
  • Prior restaurant service experience is helpful.
  • Must be able to carry a service tray weighing in excess of forty pounds.
  • Will spend long hours on their feet, standing, walking and moving around the dining rooms as well as moving furniture to accommodate dining events.
  • Must have viable means of transportation to work.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES IN ATTAINING ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVES:

  • Requires the individual to be extremely courteous, cordial and polite to the membership at all times.
  • Will actively support and be an integral part of the team.
  • Able to work both ala carte and banquet functions.
  • Will be asked to work outside functions within the community/ on Bonita Bay property.
  • Be responsible for their respective station as it relates to proper set-up, positioning of tables, full condiments, cleanliness of tables and chairs, etc.
  • Responsible for clearing and setting tables.
  • Clearing of soiled dishes during service.
  • Pouring ice water and refilling beverages when directed or needed.
  • Assisting their designated service personnel as directed.
  • Assisting in the set-up and breakdown of rooms.
  • Communicating to management suggestions for improving service to the membership.
  • Assisting management with other assigned duties on an as needed basis.
  • Report to management any unsafe or potentially hazardous situation.
  • To maintain a hazard-free working environment.
  • Share in the responsibility for the security of the building and its physical assets.
  • To respond appropriately to life/safety issues if and when necessary.
